Privacy Policy

The short version. DriveAce works offline and has no accounts. Everything you study stays on your device. The app sends anonymous, aggregate usage statistics so we can see which parts confuse people — no ads, no cross-app tracking, no personal details, and never your answers. You can turn that off in Settings → Privacy.
DriveAce is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) or any UAE government entity. “RTA” is used descriptively only. Always confirm official test requirements with the RTA.
Who we are
DriveAce (the “App”) is a study tool for the UAE RTA theory test: handbook-based questions with explanations, a road-signs library, mock exams and hazard drills. This policy explains what the App does with information.
What stays on your device
Everything you create as you study is written only to the App's local storage on your iPhone: quiz attempts, mock-exam results, hazard-drill scores, bookmarks, your weak areas and readiness score, your chosen emirate and licence class, your language, your test date if you set one, and your settings.
We operate no server that holds any of it, and we cannot read it.
Anonymous usage statistics
So that we can tell which parts of the App work and which confuse people, DriveAce sends anonymous, aggregate usage events through TelemetryDeck, our analytics provider. This is the only third-party component in the App.
What is sent:- The name of something that happened — a practice session finished, a mock exam was abandoned, a hazard drill was scored, the unlock screen was shown — with a little context such as the topic, the number of questions, the score band, or which screen led there.
- Your app language, your chosen emirate and licence class, and whether the full version is unlocked.
- How far away your test date is, rounded to a range such as “4–7 days”.
- A device identifier that is a one-way hash of Apple's per-vendor identifier combined with a value unique to this App. It lets us count how many separate people used a feature rather than how many taps happened. It cannot be reversed, and it cannot be matched to you or to your activity in any other app.
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address. The App has no accounts and never asks for them.
- Your answers to individual questions.
- The exact date of your test.
- Any advertising identifier. The App does not use one.
This is on by default and you can switch it off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Turning it off shuts the analytics component down rather than merely silencing it, so nothing further is sent or stored for later. Turning it back on is recorded; turning it off is not, because a last message after you asked us to stop is exactly the thing this App exists not to do.

No ads, no tracking
DriveAce shows no advertising and contains no advertising software. It does not track you across other apps or websites, and it does not build a profile of you. Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt never appears because there is nothing it would need to ask you about.
Purchases
DriveAce is free to start, with a single one-time unlock for full access — never a subscription. Payments and restore requests are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. The App records only whether an unlock is active on your device.
Reporting a question
If you flag a problem with a question inside the App, that report is saved on your device for your own reference and is not transmitted to us. To actually reach us, email the details to contact@imaigination.art.
This website
This site counts page views so we know whether it is worth keeping. It sets no cookies and stores no IP address or browser identifier. Visits are counted against a short value that mixes your network address with the current date, which allows us to avoid counting one visitor twice in a day and makes recognising anyone across two days impossible.
Your control, and deleting your data
Your progress lives on your device, so you control it. Reset progress in Settings clears it. Deleting the App removes all of its data from that device permanently.
Because the usage statistics described above carry no identifier that can be traced back to you, we have no way to find “your” rows in order to delete them individually. Switching the setting off stops any further data being sent.
Children's privacy
DriveAce is intended for licence candidates and is not directed at young children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and note the change in the App where it matters.
